I am hapa. My upbringing in America was fairly traditional, but my take on life has always been eclectic. I've always been very perceptive of the information and concepts that surround me on a daily basis. Growing up, I've always wanted to work in business advertising and marketing. I tried the path of traditional college and realized it was not an effective learning environment for me. My endless journey of learning has led me to the wonderful world of website creation, where I am free to express myself and live an independent and creative lifestyle. What is a hapa?
"Hapa" is a term that originates from Hawaii. It means "half" or "mixed" and refers to a person of mixed ethnic heritage. I, for example, have Chinese and Chicano parents, so I identify as a hapa. In today's world, we are all hapas. We are all ethnically diverse. We are all one.
